Visio

As per your interest in Visio, I have taken some time to learn more about the Microsoft Office tool for possible implementation into our group.

Often times in presentations it is easier to convey your message or even your strategy through the use of visual aids. Visio provides an easy way to create diagrams, process charts, and models that go beyond what you are able to do in other Windows applications like PowerPoint and Word.  Visio is a nice compliment to other Office tools, however since most of how we would use Visio could be done in office applications we already possess; I do not see this as an additional investment for our department. If there is no charge for the software, I would recommend having the software as a nice add-on, but not make it and obligation for staff to use it.
